"This page was created to act as my bio, which will be updated frequently. Featuring quotes, facts and other information from reliable sources, along with some of my personal accounts and memories."
"Masuimi Max is my REAL name. I was born with this name. I was ridiculed as a child for having an odd name..
and now I appreciate the uniqueness. The extra 'i' has made my name one of a kind! My bestfriend named her child after me and a few of my fans have done the same!
It is pronounced ma-sue-me The extra 'i' is silent. It is tattooed on my arms without the extra 'i' so it is pronounced correctly by anyone that can read Japanese. Since every word in Japanese is composed of sounds, including the extra 'i' would lead to my name being pronounced incorrectly."
"I get bored easily, and I have a wild imagination. I love doing photoshoots with strong themes and my stage shows are.. well.. not very traditional because I like to try new things."
"Latex, corsets and extremely high heels are some of my biggest fetishes."
"I've experimented with a wide variety of looks, from ice blonde to blue and every other color in the rainbow.. then back to black!"
"My very first fetish was the corset. The first time I ever saw one was when I was very young. The shape it gives anyone mystified me and I had to experience it for myself."
"I really liked the idea of being able to train your waist to be as small as you'd like.. taking control of your figure - and corsets are for almost any style of clothing. They suit fetish, pinup and conventional styles of many different body shapes."
"The shows I create are inspired from all sorts of things. Sometimes artwork, music, books or movies will inspire some of my wildest routines! One of my craziest creations is my Black Widow vs Human Fly routine. I made the chair prop myself, with expertise help from Tony from Sword and Stone.
I've performed this routine in Barcelona, Australia, England, Canada and all over the US. Traveling with this show was an ordeal.. trying to explain why I have 6 legs in my suitcase and 'strange looking boots' led to very thorough searches at the airport. "
"Morat and I were married July 8th, 2006. We are best friends."

Masuimi has had 4 relationships to date. She was not allowed to date, visit friends or chat on the phone when she lived at home with her family. She was disowned by her father at 17 and left her highschool boyfriend when she was 18 years old, after finding out he was cheating on her for a year.
Masuimi then moved from Las Vegas to Dallas, Texas, where she dated Allen Falkner for 4-5 years before he proposed to her. Their marriage only lasted a year and ended for a variety of reasons, one major one being that they fought all the time.
"We fought all the time, I thought by getting married we would stop fighting. I was wrong. I learned the hard way that you shouldn't marry someone because you think things will get better." Masuimi
Masuimi divorced Allen, moved to Los Angeles and dated Nick 13 from the band Tiger Army for a couple of years.
"This soon turned out to be a mistake, I went from one personality to the extreme opposite.. I was with a man that needed to be told what to do, then I was with a man that tried telling me what to do. I am not happy with either of those options." Masuimi
It wasn't until after she realized this, that she decided to leave. Masuimi moved out of Nick's house and into her own place- and vowed to stay away from men. Depressed and annoyed with being in the wrong relationships, she looked for a wedding ring so she could marry herself, she said "the first person you should love is yourself, before you can ever hope to find true love."
"I don't think my exes were bad people. There is someone for everyone out there and everyone deserves good in their life. I'm sure they will have happiness and true love with someone whose personality will compliment their own. We need to be with people that bring out the great in us.. if you're arguing and crying all the time, the chemistry may not be right.. and you're just wasting your time, and theirs. You should move on if 'trying' not to argue is a daily routine. Life is short, be happy." Masuimi
Living on her own, she withdrew from society and became a hermit of sorts. Her friends came over to check on her and try to get her to leave her house, but it took time.
Masuimi's friends managed to get her to go to the Burgundy Room bar in Hollywood from time to time. There she met writer and photographer Morat.
It was love at first sight. Well, sort of! Morat thought she had a boyfriend so he ignored her.. but one night their mutual friend disclosed to Morat that Masuimi was single. He went to her house immediately and proposed to Masuimi that night. (June 25, 2006) They were married on July 8th, 2006.
Morat has just released his first book, 'The Road to Fero City' [© 2014]. [ref 14, 15, 16].
"Sometimes the lessons best learned are the ones we experience and are not told."
"We are fragile, we are strong, let's treat each other like we all belong"

Masuimi Max is a performance artist and model who has inspired me to do some of my best work. Many of these paintings are in my book “American Geisha,” and she will be in my upcoming book “Malibu Cheesecake.” The way she contorts her body, making her look like a toy, is part of her unique style and energy. Joel and I love her. l will always be painting Masuimi Max! – Artist Olivia De Berardinis

I met Masuimi Max back in 2005 for a shoot, I had no idea what kind of model she was until all my girlfriends told me how jealous they were. Over the years we have shot a ton. She is every photographers dream model, as she understands her body, face and movements perfectly with a non-diva attitude. Just like hanging out with an awesome naked friend. I’m blessed to have so many great photos to share with everyone of Masuimi and hope to make 100′s more in the future. – Ellen Stagg, The Stagg Party
I’ve looked up to Masuimi since I was 17, I always loved her photos and her doll like looks. If you dont know who this girl is you are crazy. She is an original. – Raquel Reed
My name is Amber, I have been a huge fan of yours for quite some time…. You have actually been my inspiration to get into modeling. For many years, I figured that I couldn’t possibly become a respected high profile model, being as tattooed as I am; Thank you for letting ladies like myself know that it IS possible… Keep up the fabulous work, and perhaps I could offer you a drink or ten (lol) if ever up in Toronto Kind Regards,
- Amber Van Zitamore
Masuimi, as crazy as this sounds, you really have been an inspiration to me. I was so afraid to just let go and be myself. Then, a couple of years ago, I met you at… was it the key club or whiskey? I was fucking waisted. But you were this bad ass who didn’t give a shit and I decided, “fuck it. She’s enjoying life being herself. I’m going to do it too, damn it!” And I let go after that. I’ve been happier and more comfortable in my skin that I ever have. This is my life and i had been trying to follow my parents and society’s rules. But all that changed after you said this- “It’s my time to rock, bitch!” And then you burped and started laughing. Been your fan ever since.
Hopefully you will get time to read this, I understand that you’re a very busy lady!! I just wanted to mail you and say that you are such an inspiration to me!!! I think you are wonderful! I totally look up to you!! Best Wishes Wendy Hughes
- Jade Orchid
I am a glamour model here in the U.K. You are a true inspiration to me, I love lall your work, your look and your attitude. I haven’t been doing this for long, but I am already loving it. If I ever did a shoot with you, I would be so honoured! I love doing pin up style shoots and g/g especially :] Please please please have a look at my online portfolio. I haven’t had that many shoots, but I’m getting there! I aspire to be as famous and talented as you are one day.
“Why Masuimi is my favorite model: Give her a scene, and she takes it away. She is like a chameleon who can mesh in anything and completely make it her own. The way I have idolized women like Madonna in music, is the way I idolize Masuimi in modeling. These women cannot be held into one particular thing, makes it just too limiting. She is ultimate proof that you can be who you are, turn heads and yes, even shock. Masuimi is not only a woman of complete beauty and style, but a woman of substance and brains. I owe her tremendously for letting me find my own way. rock on MM!”
- Nicole Vasquez Ahumada
Hi Masuimi, I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for all you have done, and why you’re an inspiration for my work. As a character concept artist I always find it difficult to find a model with good action poses. You my friend stand apart from all the rest of those simple I’m sexy pose models. I want to make characters that are gonna kick your ass. Anyway thank you so much for being an inspiration. As a favor I will be creating a character based on you in my own little fantasy world. It’s the least I can do for all the help you’ve unkowingly given me.
